Can anyone out there explain nhow to rig for a teaser? I could probably figure out some way to do it but would like to know the best way to do it. Thanks for any help I can get. What would be good to use as a teaser? I'll probably be fishing at night using a swimming plug as a casting weight. Would a sluggo or a striper fly work? Thanks for any help I can get.

RED GILLS are my favorite but USE rubber worms in the 7 to 9 inch range all colors, Tie to your top barrel swivel or make a leader with a dropper loop. And they do CATCH FISH GOOD LUCK.........HABS

Thanks for the advice. How long a dropper loop do you tie? If you tie it relatively long (over 10 in.) do youtrim it to a single line?

any striper fly, redgill, or teaser hook will work. go to www.stripersurf.com. frank daighnaut (sp?) has a good descriptive part of rigging a fly. go there and u wont be sorry. i used my own teaser fly and caught a fluke on it, but lost it. a dropper loop? i never used it. but give it a try if u want chunker2

heres my post to a thread about teasers a while ago. (http://striped-bass.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&postid=94672#post94672)
complete with picture.

pick up a rigged teaser fly, snap, swivel, and leader and model yours after it.
