83 yrs. A good run. I was fortunate enough to see Charlie and the band back in the 70s. Thank you for your music when i was young.

RIP Charlie. Saw him a few times with the Marshall Tucker back in the day. They did a kickass version of 24 Hours at a Time together.

I worked with a band a bunch of years ago and we opened up for Charlie at Indian Ranch in Webster Ma. Real nice guy, very humble. R.I.P. sir.

I saw him perform there many times, awesome talent, my best memory was seeing him perform Cherokee fiddle with Johnny lee..

Letterman clip from 1980s. Scroll to end he sings "Wyoming on my mind". Never heard him do this one. Just his voice and a guitar. Class act.
