Took a 50 mile round trip from somerset to 2nd beach good swell but fishing was slow a rat bass here a bluefish there 1 or 2 sea bass ..only thing noteworthy was some breaking fish that slashed thru the water like bones several cast no interest these weren't big fish. Was thinking they might be mackerel but they were cutting tru the water to fast .. and saw a westport regular who always fly fishing in a 21ft regulator just saying :kewl:
