I have a pair of Cabelas breathable waders, which I love. I put a small hole (maybe 0.25 inch across) in the butt area while scuttling around the rocks at Watch Hill.

Any advice on how I can fix this? Are there patches that work well on breathable waders? Or should I just chuck 'em and get a new pair?

Thanks,

Jamie

Doesn't Cabela's have a repair policy?

It's always nice to have a 2nd pair of waders just in case your first pair gets leaky.

Only things in life that are certain are death, taxes, and leaky waders.

I just got my Cabela's back...their customer service and repair policy is EXCELLENT...wasn't under warranty anymore, but they still accomadated. More times than not, I've heard, they will replace the waders rather than fix them. Either way contact them, the turnover is a week and a half or so. Get a cheapy pair o' hodgemans for the meantime...works out well.

Cabelas rules in customer service for mail order IMO. Excellent company with a lot of good stuff for all. Not the cheapest but well worth the extra coin in the longer run. I would not hesitate to buy anything from them. Got a problem...call them...end of problem. It really is that simple.
