there was used to be one in neponset circle in dorchester, but they re outta business. go to sportsman's den or fore river bait and tackle store, al. that's my recommendation. i have some fresh herrings in my fridge. if you are going for bait fishing, you can have it. it also include a pogy. lemme know when u want them.

Fore River is usually good for bait. Sportsman's Den has a better selection of tackle. Both in Quincy.

Location/Directions??

need sea worms, and mabye clams or such. My uncle that dont want to go out on a boat, wants to fish Castle Island for flounder. I have not fished for those in about 15 years and we just used seaworms...

Sportsman's Den is on Southern artery. Fore River is on the 3A rotary, Washington St I believe.

We had 2 bait shops in SB at one time, but they're gone. Try P&J Bait and Tackle on Dorchester Ave. I haven't used them in a while, Fore River is closer to me. Where are you going? PM me.

P& J is the closest. But the tackle selection is lacking. I have not been there in a while but it is a good bet if you need bait quick.
