I need to do a best efforts cleaning in the area below the deck of my 1993 Grady 20' cc. I say best efforts because so much of that space is only accessible through seat covers over batteries or inspection plates. I am not looking to remove the console and deck at this point for a full cleaning.

So, what products, methods are you good folks able to recommend? You know that black crap that grows in the bilge and undersides of seldom opened covers, as well as covering wiring etc.

I need to remind you that besides short legs, I also have just average length arms and only one elbow in each. And I am at the mercy of a replaced knee when getting down on the deck to access said inspection ports.... Any help/suggestions appreciated.

I use a pump sprayer and use bleach. Spray it all over ,let it sit for awhile. Then blast it with a hose fresh water. Might need to do a cpl times. Same thing when we go squidding.

I have used the bleach thing it works , also have used this stuff purple power or super clean both are bio degradable I fill the bilge with water a lot of water and any of those cleaners , the night before I drag the boat to get gas, I aggressively brake and take some turns and let the water movement to do the work, get home drain it , and re hit the heavy spots if needed ,
