My son is looking for a good used 20 ft CC, anyone got any leads. He is looking at a 2006 Sea Fox 236 with same year mercury optimax 200, looks clean but I know nothing about either or if the $25,000 asking is a good price.

Yup, I told him last year my old 2004 McKee craft was still in the OTW classified for $19,000 and it had a newer trolling motor, canvas, radar package and sweat aluminum bunk trailer and he knew the boat.

The prices are insane, used boats and cars, it’s ridiculous. Spend the $$ on charters till this bubble bursts. I know you know, but be so careful with old motors, I must of heard 10 hails for SeaTow in Plymouth harbor on Sunday.

This. Charter or boat club for now, save yourself the $20k.

Everything has doubled in price since last spring… I know because I was/still am in the market. I’ll be putting off the upgrade for a couple years now

And no resin equals no new boats being produced.... that is the industry reality for the past six months or more. I know of at least four boats that are being used in their slips or on their moorings only as they have blown outboards and their are no motors available until 2022....

Did your McKee sell? That was a pretty solid boat, right?

This. It may not be bottom of mid tier, it may be top of bottom tier.

I did call Millway Marine to check, but they have no used McKee craft, so I'm sure it sold. I loved that boat, sweat ride and with a trolling motor you could get into some skinny water.

Millway’s yard is normally stuffed with boats, it’s just about empty right now… nice folks
