See a lot of impressive rigs roll in and out of town, as well as some sea trials. And then there are the ones headed out of town all covered up... and it isn't to keep them clean... ribcraftusa.com Higgie 07-09-2021, 02:23 PM Paul there has been one for sale in wrentham I drive by quite often I’ll swing by tomorrow and if it’s there I’ll pm you the info and it’s a short scoot from the course for you. The width of the gunwale and the risk of puncture from large hooks or gaffs would concern me but I know nothing about this style boat. piemma 07-10-2021, 10:22 AM I'm curious, why are you looking for an inflatable? Easy to trailer. easy to launch. Sea worthy and they don't puncture easily at all. i have fished out of one a few times. I don't want to deal with a marina and $2K a year for a slip. afterhours 07-10-2021, 08:02 PM Easy to trailer. easy to launch. I don't want to deal with a marina and $2K a year for a slip. Those were my thoughts exactly Paul. Clammer 07-10-2021, 08:44 PM but you,ll use it less than 1/2 the time & knowing you your gonns go B/S with the boat ramp antics :wid::whackin: piemma 07-11-2021, 05:20 AM Probably right Mike. Got Stripers 07-11-2021, 11:33 AM Probably right Mike. Don’t know about your ramps, but I find the ramps catering to more of the fishing types like Westport are much more civilized and speedy, than say a Plymouth harbor ramp. I always found it easy if you go early and come in after most have launched, but yet to return. Clammer 07-11-2021, 12:19 PM your right on going early /paul & you would be all set , except places Like Pt judith ... all launching early is usually pretty quick ,, but getting out can be a horror show paul you come in real early / so it would be only 1/2 a cluster fluck ....................... but if your fishing to catch ......... so many times you will have missed the bite I remember a bunch of times you missed the pogies because you were ahead of the moving with all the boats , ski do,s / etc that have been purchased since the virus ......I don,t think you will find a quiet ramp If I was to tow .....I would have to be healthy [LOL] and I would fish nights ......... that not a issue around here again some what of a issue for PJ because of the block & the EEZ Guppy 07-11-2021, 03:55 PM We need a ramp stories thread… LOL Higgie 07-12-2021, 03:18 AM Thank you!!!
