I guess the next best thing to buying another boat, is hearing your son has pulling the trigger on a boat. He is buying a 2013 Sailfish 220 WAC with Yamaha four stroke. Pictures obviously don’t tell the whole story, but it looks real clean, it’s a haul to go get it in Long Island, but he bought a brand new dual axle aluminum bunk trailer from Monahan’s to put it on (in dry storage without trailer). Been way to long since we have been out fishing together, other than some kayak trips, can’t wait to get the Dad want to go fishing call.

No clue what that boat rides like or if it’s got a good reputation, but I’m looking forward to getting out on the water again, without having to peddle my way out.

A haul? One time I missed the last Orient Point ferry by about 2 minutes and had to drive the entire route back at night. Dumb kid, today I'd just find the closest nice hotel and get a drink.

Sailfish is a good one,,, maybe your son should leave it in your yard,,, what could go wrong…. ;-)

I’d rather just show up at the ramp, my gigantic choke cherry always made a mess of my boat, don’t miss having the issues with boat ownership.
