Last 3 weeks I have enlisted contractors for a variety of projects that I don't do anymore. New roof on shed, chimney cleaning, roof cleaning on the big garage. Not one of these guys call to say they are not coming, have been delayed or whatever.
I'm gonna find a whole new set of guys.:realmad:

That su*ks Paul, sounds like it might be best, communicating is all part of being a quality company and in today’s world there are no excuses.

Chimney cleaner had the audacity to text me this morning and say he didn't hear back from me so he moved equipment at a buddies restaurant. I had texted him 4 times yesterday asking where he was, what time would he be here, if he was coming. Guess his text only works for outgoing msgs, not incoming. He's TOAST!!:walk:

My chimney cleaner moved my wood stove and had to order a new elbow, quoted two weeks and a month later told me they dropped the ball and didn’t order it. Finally installed, probably looking for a new company.

Problem is,,, there's so much work out there but no laborers, putting jobs behind is the norm...it's not just short of materials, but short of laborers as well. Communication goes a long way though, even if it's BS
What these guys don't understand is that when this boils over, their name and reputation is stained forever. When it comes to contractors, I'd rather be lied to, then ignored.
