There’s a bald eagle hanging out around the Attleborro reservoir … seen him a couple times while heading south on 95 …. Things huge….
Got Stripers 12-21-2021, 04:43 PM My spring pickerel spot has had a nesting pair for years, had one come get a 3 lb pickerel that turned into a floater…..very cool to watch.
Higgie 12-21-2021, 05:18 PM Guppy I fished a pond in Attleboro today with the dog and we watched mature adult hunting for over an hour. Cool they’ve made a comeback. I know there is several nesting pairs at Norton reservoir and also Neponset res. Love watching them hunt

JohnR 12-22-2021, 07:28 AM Damn Russians.
Years back on Cuttyhunk we watched a large seagull snag a rabbit and launch him into the rocks below the club.
Yeah, it was a big article in the paper. Do you suppose this has any connection with the current geopolitical situation?

Mobile listening device on the arm band for sure.
Hookedagain 12-22-2021, 06:51 PM This is apparently a big deal. It is on the other side of the globe from its natural habitat. People came from as far as the Carolina's to photograph this bird. While watching him along the river from Somerset north through Dighton they saw 10 Bald Eagles, 4 adult birds and 6 juveniles. Cool stuff!!
Well, we still got ‘em outnumbered!

Crazy stuff.....That thing was huge
fishgolf 12-23-2021, 11:18 AM Saltyric, were you able to get some photos?
Crazy stuff.....That thing was huge
Massive. It dwarfed all the bald eagles around it. They’re normally 20#s and have an 8ft wingspan.
One woman interviewed who’s seen a ton of rare birds said it was a once in a lifetime experience. Tempted to take a ride, but must be a mob scene now with CNN covering it.

Got motivated by this thread and decided to take a quick drive. Figured they must be back if they're everywhere else.
