Meat of the winter, Football Playoffs on, no Pats, should be start of fishing show season.

That means, of course, work ~!

So what's up for the weekend?

Wishing I was a black bear and asleep in my den, waiting for the warmth of spring to wake me up, getting tougher each winter to get through this. Football is about all I can say I have to look forward to this weekend, might be busting out an IPA early.

Horrible this year. I worked outside all day Saturday. Just brutal.

I have really had it with this winter and will not be here next year. Jeanne wouldn't travel due to Covid but come hell or high water I will be South starting December 1, 2022.

It is dozens of satellites in a row going across the sky!

Coolest thing I have seen in the sky in many many years! Check time in your town. 5:58 tonight in my town.

No one is handy enough to convince me that a dip strip service isn't money well spent....

Watch football, golf and tennis and read more history books. Bourbon and Scotch. Clean basement, never ends. Avoid frustration with current state of being a human.

How old a table
The old ones were shellacked, steel wool and denatured alcohol will strip that way better than paint remover

I have to strip a door that was probably built in the 1830’s and it’s loaded with lead paint. you think I should get that dipped? Or for just a door, should I just throw on a respirator and heat gun it?

Been a while since I actually did it myself
Maybe my own stench covered it up😊

You blow glass and a little lead concerns you 😊
I’d do it outside with a fan or wind

Speaking of Marblehead... Reading a book called "The Indispensables". Marbleheaders were leading characters up to and during the Revolutionary War. Very good.

Looks great! Think about this; Ray and I can do this stuff.... it ain't rocket science!

Get a heater in there, some 0000 steel wool, and get a half dozen more coats on that. I finish off a majority of my pieces by polishing with black/brown/old fashioned butchers wax
