How much you get? Hard to say here as almost grass in front of the Jeep and a 5' drift behind it

Like you say......very hard to tell with the huge drifting.

Here in Marshfield I'd have to say 20 or so........

The best part is it not sticky and the snowblower worked great like it should. Some storms you wanna throw it in the dumpster.

Storm winds suck, it’s been a challenge, no clue on snow totals. Grass in one spot and hip deep drifts ten feet away.

Hot 15" in New Haven area. Drifts and driveway blown over. Plowed twice. Clean up today. Just walked outside, like paradise compared to yesterday . Stay warm all.

I can still see grass in spots, massive drifts all over, it’s really cold so I’m not rushing out to start the cleanup yet. Hoping we didn’t loose as many shingles as the last storm, getting a tarp up isn’t easy in this cold and finding a roofer to do it is always a challenge.

Made one pass with snowblower at noon yesterday then went out around 6 for the other and cleaned off 2 of 3 vehicles. Then went next door to get my neighbors much lager snow blower going forward him and did his driveway for him since he is not able. I guess I dressed warm enough because I was out there a good 3 hours. I hate snow. Off to parents house now to shovel walks, steps and decks

We had 20"+ here ....dry light stuff.....Husqvarna blower ate it up good.... Cleared the driveway by 8 am...then snowshoeing out back with my son....now going to have a few beers and watch football.

About 20 " here, slot of drifting. used tgec4wheeler to move most of it, then finish with the snow blower..even had to get the roof rake out. One section had 3' drift..

Solid 24 inches had to shovel of the front porch roof South facing , the East wind dumped 4 feet on it . Worried about the weight once the warm up starts weds and Thursday it’s going to be a mess

And had to deal with a frozen heat pipe pellet stove was on so it never called for heat overnight and the wind found a way in ! Luckly didn’t split

Probably 18” or so. Lots of drifting and heavy this morning. I wasn’t sure the Airens was going to push through the big drifts but it did. Watching my son use a big snow blower for the first time was pretty fun :hihi:

Him: Dad, what do I do?

Me: Go slow, be patient.

Him: it’s not moving

Me: Try again

Him: I can’t turn around

Me: Let the machine do the work

This went on for an hour.

We had a storm too, but we only got 8" or so here. But Helsinki, father south, got 53 centimeters, which is about 2'.

Believe it or not, heavy snowfalls are rare here. The mountains on the Norway-Sweden border trap a lot of the moisture from ocean storms. But this one came right up the Baltic Sea.

Buying a Kubota was one of the best things i ever did… I cleared my driveway in about 2o minutes.

Morning local news had 30” Quincy. I shoveled old biddys driveways from 4 pm till 11pm last night and again from 8-4 today. I’m so sore even my toes ache.
I HATE snow.

Never experienced worse road and plowing conditions.
For the life of me I still can't understand how living in New England regardless of income level how people especially older/ elderly can still not either have a snowblower or a plow guy set up and then bitch about shoveling (aside from extenuating circumstances as machine won't start or blew up in middle of cleanup ( been there). Brought a lot into perspective to the non stop wave downs I had today doing my 12 driveway route that I suffered thru in my truck since 7am yesterday to keep up with when they ask how much to plow the 2+ feet in their driveway in one shot not knowing where anything is and i tell them how much and they are i not price gouging or anything but my truck is a 20 yr old Chevy 2500 and I don't beat on it that's why I am anal about paying attention to snow conditions. And I say yeah it may only take me a few minutes but which is more importantly to you. Hours of torture that may lead to a heart attack or some of their money versus for me to replace truck/ plow/ snow blower thousands of dollars when I hit something buried like a kids toy How much money is your time worth. And I have dedicated customers that rely on me to be reliable and they are counting on me. Which is easier to drive regarding time in relation to money? Your check book and a pen or a shovel and waist deep snow?
Be prepared.
I picked up 6 new permanent customers today. Sucks. It just another aggravation to deal with. Some call snow white gold. More like blood money.

And a lot of people missed physics classes. Plows are made to push snow, not pull it, especially not up hill with your special kid's car sitting in the middle and they have their keys at their friend's house. Be prepared.

Gotta get a snowblower. When you’re older like us, it’s worth every penny. After shoveling nearly 100 inches in 2015, I got one the next year and my back has thanked me for it ever since. Disposed of our 17 inches here in less than 15 minutes with no trouble.

Shoulders are sore this morning, even with a snow blower it takes a lot of effort to slowly eat away at drifts twice the height of the snow blower.

We got 24 in. plus in Attleboro. Bought an Ariens snowblower this year. That thing went through this like crap through a goose. Even where the plow piled it up

Yeah, it was that big pile of slush at the end that was always the difference maker for me when I was shoveling. You'd get the driveway dug, and then that pile at the end which was also much denser would be sitting there waiting for you too. But once I got that blower going, it ate that snow pile like someone who hadn't had a meal in a week. Truly amazing!

Got a solid half a Tucker, if not more in some spots. About 2 feet.

I’m in a unique situation. I live on a small cow path street in Quincy. The houses are literally jammed against each other. Too narrow for a truck and plow to maneuver a driveway. If you use a snowblower you’d just be throwing it either in the street or your neighbors tiny piece of property. Pissing off the other guy.
I don’t mind hand shoveling my property. I’ve been lifting weights for 50 years, to me it’s a workout. I feel bad for my elderly neighbors, most are now alone in their 80’s. Their useless fat kids seldom check on them. My gripe tells my age I guess. There used to be armies of kids shoveling out the old people around here for a few bucks. The old folk tell me no one will do it now. ( Probably because eventually I do it for free )
Kids are wired different today, if it can’t be done with a phone it’s impossible.

I’m taking care of an uncles house in south Boston.
He died last may and his estate was tied up in probate.
His house is on a street corner so there are 2 sidewalks to be cleared.
You don’t clear them within a set timeframe, the city goes around handing out fines.
He’s also got a detached 2 car garage.
Parking is impossible in the summer let alone when we get snow like this past Saturday.
My family thought & hoped this property would have been sold before the winter.
I DONT KNOW WHY THE HELL ANYONE WOULD WANT TO LIVE THERE !!!
That said…..
Anyone looking to buy a multi family in South Boston, on a street corner (close to the beach) a 2 car garage & a million dollar view of Dorchester bay & Boston Harbor from the upper deck ?

House is being listed with Berkshire Hathaway, listed for 1.75 mill and will most like be bought up by a developer, gutted, converted from 2 family to 3, each condo sold for 1-1.5 million
The 1st floor apartment was gutted 8-9 years ago & renovations started. My uncle & his wife had intentions of moving down there till my aunt died.
House has been vacant since my uncle died in May.
