Nearing 2 years since his passing in the first half of the pandemic. Today is his birthday.

I was just thinking about Don yesterday as something came up and it reminded me of him.

I bought a kayak from Don many years ago. Delivered it to my house too, as he had family here in town. He also wrapped a trolling rod for the kayak, as I did not know anything about this kayak fishing thing. I wish I had gotten the blank model from him as it is still to this day, my go to livelining and bait rod on the boat. I think it was a muskie blank and is a glass rod. he did very nice work.
