Amazing no court found any issue, Barr a bid time Trumper said is was a fair election, but a far right network has a movie to prove there were ballot stuffers. Jim in CT 05-11-2022, 02:51 PM Trump won in 2016, he lost in 2020. It's that simple. Interesting that Biden's new press secretary, replacing Psaki, has said explicitly, that Trump stole the 2016 election from Hilary. And Stacey Abrams said her loss was an election stolen from the GA voters. Somehow, it's OK when democrats make baseless claims of fraud to explain a loss, but it's paranoid lunacy when Republicans do it. It's very convenient for the liberals, I'll say that. detbuch 05-11-2022, 05:41 PM Big Brother strikes again. YouTube removed the video. All righteee... If a president owns everything that happens on his watch, let's look at what Biden owns...once-in-40-year inflation, surging crime, all time high gas prices, surging border crossings, record high drug overdose deaths, lack of baby formula, Russia on the march, a whole lot of his own covid deaths, shrinking GDP, bear markets on wall street...did I miss anything? mags king isn’t going to win the independents when gas is $4.50 , and chicken costs what steak used to cost and moms literally can’t get baby formula, and our adversaries obviously emboldened like Russia. Crime soaring, illegal crossings soaring ( not going to help the democrats in AZ). But saying “maga king” is a good strategy in the face of all that. Stick with that. That'll work in November. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device As others have posted voters, or at least those without the ability to really think through cause and affect, take the easy way out and blame the sitting president (red or blue). Thinking Biden caused high gas prices, supply shortages and the resulting inflation is taking the easy way out. The United States has done a good job of distancing ourselves from Russia’s oil industry, even though Russia is the second-largest oil producer in the world. Russia accounts for just 7 percent of total US Oil Imports, meaning we are far less dependent on the Kremlin for oil than other countries. However, the price of oil is determined by international factors, and because other countries are more heavily dependent on Russian oil than the U.S. is, any cutbacks in the use of Russian oil elsewhere can reduce global supplies, pushing prices higher for Americans. Want to blame someone for really f*cking the global economy after it was just starting to get out from under the devastating impact of Covid, blame the guy Trump loves his man crush Putin. Don’t forget the corporation’s that the right has always wanted to reward with tax breaks, they all are seeing epic profits throughout this. Don’t forget the corporation’s that the right has always wanted to reward with tax breaks, they all are seeing epic profits throughout this. "As others have posted voters, or at least those without the ability to really think through cause and affect, take the easy way out" I 100% agree. And we can out Pete solidly in that category. "Thinking Biden caused high gas prices, supply shortages and the resulting inflation is taking the easy way out." I'd say he contributed to some of those things, he's not the sole cause, but he did things that made it worse. Pumping trillions and trillions into the economy, especially when supplies are low, is going to cause inflation. Trump also spent like a lunatic and caused some of it. "the price of oil is determined by international factors" I'm no expert on that by ANY means, but it's also based on speculation of future supply. Having a US president that's perceived as likely to cut US production, is likely to lead to higher prices. "blame the guy Trump loves his man crush Putin." That argument is destroyed by considering the very simple fact that inflation started shooting up before Russia invaded. Putin is certainly making it worse, but he's not the root cause of large-scale inflation. "Don’t forget the corporation’s that the right has always wanted to reward with tax breaks, they all are seeing epic profits throughout this": (1) corporations making profits, is a lot better for regular Americans, than the alternative. (2) those record profits were meaningfully helped by Trump and Biden handing out covid relief checks, in MANY cases to people who weren't impacted by covid at all. If you give every single regular family close to $10,000 in free money over the course of a couple of covid relief bills, why would you be surprised that corporations are making big profits? People are going to spend that money. So as I look at your post, it appears you seem to be saying that zero blame lies with the democrats, and all the blame lies with entities on the right. It's not that simple. Almost every barometer that you'd use to judge how the US is doing, is meaningfully worse than it was when Biden took over. Not nearly all of that is his fault, but he's not blameless either. Not by a long shot. Making people afraid of MAGA isn't going to help the left in the midterms, that's just going to energize the right. The people who think that's great, are already voting for democrats. Focusing on Roe might well help the left in the midterms. That was a political gift to the left. Pete F. 05-13-2022, 07:51 AM Russia is emboldened??????? The Hungarian prime minister and his ruling Fidesz party has become a prominent source of inspiration for American conservatives. Stephen K. Bannon, former adviser to President Donald Trump, described Orban’s nationalist agenda and rule as that of a “Trump before Trump.” A steady stream of conservative U.S. intellectuals have made their way to Budapest on sabbaticals and fellowships. Later this week, a major event of the Conservative Political Action Conference — the premier convening organization of the American political right — is slated to take place in Budapest. Orban and a number of his lieutenants will address the meeting, along with a cast of Republican lawmakers, European far-right leaders and key figures from the U.S. right-wing media ecosystem. That includes a virtual appearance from Tucker Carlson, Vance, also known for cheering Orban’s brand of nationalism, suggested in an interview with Vanity Fair that a Trump reelection in 2024 should prompt the start of a forced takeover of U.S. institutions, including universities. “I tend to think that we should seize the institutions of the left,” he said. “And turn them against the left. We need like a de-Baathification program, a de-woke-ification program.” He added: “I think that what Trump should do, if I was giving him one piece of advice: Fire every single mid-level bureaucrat, every civil servant in the administrative state, replace them with our people.” Yep And Democrats and liberals are a threat to American values lol Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Pete F. 05-17-2022, 08:17 AM You can fire a John Derbyshire and excommunicate a Steve King. It's not black voters he is warning about getting their vote replaced and it's not white immigrants he is warning YOU about. Carry on with your circle jerk, it's amusing. Getting votes replaced, regardless of color, is the key. Democrats understand this. They have said it. They understand that those coming from Central America will predominantly vote Democrat. This is why they predict red states will shift to blue because of the change in demographics that will occur with mass immigration from those countries. This is no secret. They say it out loud, gleefully, and in our faces. Republicans are not against people of color from Cuba immigrating here because they think those people will predominantly vote Republican. It's about voting patterns not skin color. So, let immigrants come here LEGALLY, in more manageable numbers, and with skills that we need (as has all been done in the past), rather than illegally in massive numbers and with the expectation that they can remain here and become citizens, while those from other countries who apply legally can wait for years, if they're accepted at all. Do it in that organized, handleable, legal way and let the chips fall where they may in voting patterns as the immigrants gradually get assimilated into American society and have a clearer picture of American politics and the actual consequences of their votes. detbuch 05-17-2022, 09:50 AM You can fire a John Derbyshire and excommunicate a Steve King. A poll estimated that only 45.1 percent of Biden voters knew much, if anything, about the Hunter Biden email scandal. if they had been aware of the Hunter Biden laptop messages-- Please post them I’d love to see what your taking about Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device detbuch 05-22-2022, 09:57 PM if they had been aware of the Hunter Biden laptop messages-- Please post them I’d love to see what your taking about Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device You always tell Jim to do research. Do it yourself. Pete F. 05-23-2022, 03:53 AM Hunter Biden’s laptop is Republican propaganda designed to distract from Steve Mnuchin’s 18 trips to the Persian Gulf, Jared Kushner’s $2 Billion investment from Saudi Arabia, Donald Trump’s secret Chinese bank account, and Ivanka Trump’s trademarks on Chinese coffins & bodybags. Have changed the election. It’s odd you think the release of supposedly Hunters info from a stolen illegally copied hard drive is Hard evidence of misconduct and he’s not a government official But all the actual text messages not stolen. and emails from those who tried to overturn the election and are elected officials are. Funny how that works Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device So Joe Biden setting his no. government official up to make zillions, and then lying repeatedly about it ( he said he has never once spoken to his son about business, when he has golfed and traveled with Bunter and his partners). means nothing? there’s a reason why the media and big tech buried the story wayne. they went to great lengths to bury it. but Biden is. democrat, so it’s ok. just like it’s ok that congressional democrats tried to undermine the 2016 election with no valid reason other than they did t like the outcome Awful when the GOP tried it, not worth mentioning when the democrats did it. Because false equivalence. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device detbuch 05-23-2022, 03:08 PM I did they don’t exist at least not the ones you suggested should. Have changed the election. The Michigan state elections bureau determined mass fraud was perpetrated by 18 people who were paid to collect signatures for Republican candidate Craig. Almost 10,000 of his 21,000 were forged. In the meantime, from your far left Salon's article "The candidates argued that they are the victims of the scheme, not the perpetrators. The bureau said it does not currently 'have reason to believe that any specific candidates or campaigns were aware of the activities of fraudulent-petition circulators.' " Among the 18, one was Democrat (that's surely a mistake, Democrats don't do fraud), and nine were independents (No Way--independents?--Independents surely wouldn't do fraud--fraud, if it actually exists, is done by Republicans). The final decision to disqualify has not been made yet. "The Board of Canvassers, which has two Democrats and two Republicans, will review the bureau's findings on Thursday and will determine whether to accept the bureau's recommendation to disqualify the candidates. It would take three of four members to reject the bureau's findings though candidates can still take the issue to court." Pete F. 05-25-2022, 04:57 AM I don’t know about an article in Salon but “the eighteen” doesn’t refer to the number of candidates. And yes among the candidates who had ineligible signatures was A Democrat Joseph Alfonso: 959 valid signatures, 68 invalid signatures (needed 1,000, 4th District Congress, Holland, Democrat Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
