Hello,
I am looking for a new headlamp. I’ve been using an Energizer one for a while that I got at Home Depot and the strap is losing its elasticity.
Thanks

Highly recommend the princeton tec Remix
The batteries last a long running time, they have AAA batteries (I greatly prefer to internal rechargable), they last several years, fairly waterproof, and IMO maybe the most important thing in a fishing headlamp they start off on a red light (to get to white you have to hold the button).
I've been through a number of headlamps over the years and I've liked the Remix so much that I own three in part of my usual rotation and vehicles, and two still in the package for if/when I lose one.
Been using Underwater Kinetics UK Vizion for the past dozen years or so. https://uwk.com/products/3aaa-vizion-i-headlamp

2nd on the UK. They will even sell you a new strap when it looses its elasticity.

Agree with uk vision. Ik on my
Second in ten years and the original still works fine but the lense is scratched
And dull. Recently got some foxeli brand as s gift from a friend and I’m impressed although I haven’t swam with it yet I like several brightness levels in white and red.

Love these little rechargeable Nebo’s.
Fairly water resistant. Plent of light , full, medium, low.
One is white, the othe red. Brightest red I’ve ever seen.
Super lightweight, don’t even know they’re on my hat. About $25.
180° rotation too.

UK vizion is the only headlamp that is truly waterproof... complete submersion for years and still works. its simple design is what i like.... the manual "twist" for a red filter eliminates the countless "modes" of other lights that have to be cycled through

I have had the Energizer White/Red light for probably 15 years. Still works fine. I don't swim out to rocks so it's waterproof enough for in the surf.
