Striper fishing has been excellent. Seems that the stripers are holding tight to the shore and I mean tight. Fishing from the boat your bait has to hit the rocks. My clients from Colorado had a hard time believing that you can catch 36-38" fish in a foot of water, which they did catch. Sure enough the beginner caught most of and the biggest fish. There has been allot of action along the western shore towards Bakers Island
Blue fish blitzes have been happening along our shore line. The birds are working the left overs along the shore.

Any body get the New Hampshire fishing & hunting news paper HAWKEYE ? ? Page 2 photo of a fella holding a striper. Caption says that the fellas caught stripers 20+ miles off shore. Maybe the Marine Fisheries will get a hold of that and take legal action against the CAPTAIN:smash: :smash:

Glad to hear your hittin' em Fly.......must be fun watching the new guy get fish 'eh?

We were up fishin around Halibut Point over the weekend and got some blues for the grill. They were just crusing around and every so often they would show up under the boat and you'd have two on......fun day!!

Tried to call you a couple of times on Sat, were you out?

Funny what some people will brag about to the newspaper....

Hopefully this weekend won't be to rough......

Yes I was out Saturday for a couple of hrs off the Eastern Pt. breakwater playing with a couple of new plugs. Hooked a couple of blues in the 4-6 lb class, nothing to brag about. Saturday wasn't a good day, had 4' seas, rollers that weren't that far apart.

Glad to hear that you had a good day of fishing.

The stripers were on the rocks Sunday. Hit them real good at Salt Island and hooked a few at Normans Woe.
