Just went up to the lobster pound at manomet point and lost count at 100 boats. Whales, bait and who knows tuna and I’m sure stripers. Won’t be paddling out in that sh*t show.

I’m pretty sure every boater with access to the Plymouth area has been fishing or whale watching out front of our summer cottage and in case anyone hasn’t heard channel 5 has been highlighting it for days. I’ve been shore fishing all summer, but the action in tight is almost non existent with all the action two or three casts away.

Just another sh*t show off the beach today, with one whale breaching and landing on the bow of a 19 footer. If they were actually enforcing the 100 yard limit, there would be fifty or more violators. I personally can’t wait for it to be over, even people coming off the beach complaining about the smell of 100 idling boats just a short way off the beach. Love to get the yak out, two things stopping me, the heat and the zoo.
