Flap was one of the people in my life that I wish I had gotten to know better. He was a smart dude.

Didn't know Steve personally. Met him at those Plugfests. Always had a great selection of his lures. Remember reading an article in a magazine on his plug building.

Steve was one of the best fishermen I ever met and always willing to share his knowledge freely! Glad I got to know him! He is missed.:(
