When I'm airin' down at the Race , I just love to hear the googans say "20 lbs. is good enough honey":af: I just know the track will be effed to the max. Be bouncing all over the place. Morons:mad: :smash: And then there's the idiots who trailer their boats without airing down the trailer:mad: Looks like they plowed to plant potatos or something:af: They should be fined $5 for every # over 15 ...each friggin tire. And be publicly kicked in the arse:mad: !!

I bet she was impressed ! what a way to start out a marriage " no honey Im not stuid " really ! they were stuck right where the road to the cottges is . good spot right between two hills and siude ways across the trail .

Jenn, the funniest thing I ever came across was two tanked feebs in a Pontiac Tempest buried to the frame just going on at South Race. They had mixed drinks in a thermos and high ball glasses( high class). They asked if I'd pull them out and I said no but the nice Ranger in the green Wagoneer would. I still wish that I stayed for the show.
Chris l , I was in Nelson's in P-town , and a young newleywed couple there were buying bait and etc. When the new wife said "You aren't going to fish EVERY day are you. Well Jack looked the pretty young thing up and down, looked the new husband in the eye and asked" Just married , huh?" he said "yep" Jack said "to her?" he said "yep". Jack said "and you're still going to go FISHING? " Brought down the house!

I too wish they would stop and check pressures and issue fines. It is sooooooooooooo much eaiser on everything vehicle, beach and passangers if you air waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down. This year I got those tire deflators...you set them for a given psi and just screw them on...they work great and you are done in a minute airing down 4 at a time.

I just had a thought, remember how much of a challenge it used to be waaaay back, bias-ply tires with tubes, and if you had 4X4, that was rare... didn't see a lot of people with no clue, if somebody was stopped, it was usually cause they had a flat, and was changin' it.
Maybe it's too easy to get out there, I mean everybody goes out and gets a SUV now, and thinks they are baja ready. Even with all the 4X4, and AWD, and good radials, it is all operator error I seem to be seeing... I hate to say it, 'cause there is too many rules now, for my tastes, but maybe, for the first timers at least, there should be a driving test!

Antilock brakes and AWD/4WD have fooled more people into crackups...

I swear, these people have no idea how to operate their vehicles.
I have seen more SUVs smashed up - and it is not because the car is unsafe. It is cause the driver has no clue how to operate it.

They get up to speed, and then some... they decide to change lanes and over compensate then fishtail then roll over when the glass is swept uo they blame the vehicle.

Better yet - they blame cell phones. - not the coffee, makeup, shaver, newspaper, radio, burgers, ketchup, briefcase, dog, etc.

Cause I have seen it all.

Always blame something else.

Stupid people get the hell off the road.
IF you a car coming up behind you, move to the right.
If cars are passing on your right move the hell to the right
If someone is honking their horn and flashing their lights MOVE THE FUDGE OVER AND GET THE HELL OUT OF THE DAMN CAR BEFORE YOU GET KILLED!!!

People suck.
