DO NOT plan a major trip to a national park or other major federal installation for Oct. 1, 2023.
Pressure for a government shutdown will be very hard to resist because Dem Senate and Biden aren't going to agree to a long, long, long list of House GOP demands and McCarthy's hold on 218 votes is ???
Also, take care of your passport and visa and federal permit needs earlier in the year rather than later. And so on.
Remember the longest US gov shutdown in history from Dec 22, 2018, to Jan 25, 2019 (35 days), was by Trump, who demanded $5.7 billion in fed funds for his US-Mexico wall. Remember, Trump said, "Mexico will pay for the wall.")

The GOP, with full control of the House and Senate, shut down the government a total of 3 times during trump admin. They have proven that they can not govern or lead and likely will confirm it once again.

And there it is, that has to be Jim’s #2 greatest hit, frankly I can’t see how they can find places to live with such an inrush. Hope they like high insurance payments if they plan to buy, Ron is more concerned about antivax red MAGA primary voters than what’s coming in that regard.

Go Jim I’ll wait:jump:

Everyone talks about all the people moving to Florida. But high prices, hot weather, and shattered expectations are pushing residents out, too.

Well, they aren’t moving to Arkansas, Mississippi or Louisiana are they?
Don’t forget the majority of people leaving Connecticut moved to New York🤦
