if you boil some water in a pot and bring it outside promptly and toss it into the air, it will instantly turn into snow..

I have wanted to try it forever.. just never was 'lucky' enough to be somewhere where it was below zero until this morning. I couldnt believe it actually worked.

A nice crisp -14 Celsius here on the frozen tundra. ;)

That's about +7 degrees Fahrenheit. The dog and I had a nice walk earlier. Finns like to say, "there's no bad weather, just bad equipment". :rotf3:

I almost woke up and dragged the kids out to do that this morning at 3:30 when -9 but decided it was too damn cold for me

I hate to think what extra it cost to keep the heat up on our three floors ,,, actually the system couldn’t keep up with at the height of the wind and cold… time to down scale…. House for sale….

NEBE great vid with the snow making …. :claps:

Gup...whatever it cost to keep the house warm is alot better than the damage from broken pipes.:cens:

2 woodstoves going nonstop for 72 hours. I burned 1/3 of a cord of dry Oak but the house was 72 to 75 all day. Also closed the thermal shades in the greenhouse and the bow window in the living room. made a huge difference.

The upside was we burned an average of 4 gallons per day and that's including hot water. 2500 sq. ft. house.
