Had trouble posting from work today. I typed in response then hit post and it would ask me for my nickname and email. Not name and password , name and email address?

I'm home now and it works fine. I use Netscape 4.7 at work and IE at home.

I turned off required login as there is a problem preventing new people from registering. I'll turn that back on as soon as I can fix it. So one thing happening now is if you try to rely to a post and you are not logged in, it will ask you for the name you want displayed and the e-mail address instead of asking you to log in during the session...

Have you logged in and then kicked out when replying??

BTW - I'm still working the bugs out...

hey John, I figured that out last night just playing around, thanks for the info, it does work that ay, you just have to go back inot Striper Talk after you log in.

Did you get ahold of FranK O. yet?

I got an e-mail from him but I haven't replied yet - works for me. I'll just need to call up and reserve the night before... And as long as I don't have to fish with the Old Fart (just kidding Frank :P )...

John:
Check your e-mail and look at the attachment. Getting kicked off under certain circumstances.

Hmmm, I haven't had any problems with this board at all lately. Maybe John is just trying to tell you guys something. ;) Just kidding!

I had the same thing happen to me. I found it was because I wasn't logged in. Once I logged in it worked ok.Saltheart (04-05-2001 19:32):

I do have a support call (e-mail actually) into the company that makes this script to have these bugs ironed out. I've spent several full days trying to rebuild them on a seperate machine (as not to trash the live board) to no avail and have escalated this...

Thanks,

John

John,

I'm having trouble updating my profile. I get a CGI script error.
