nightfighter 09-22-2023, 04:37 PM All the projects seem to require made in the USA such as the blades, towers, transport ships and American flagged ships with American crews. I can get behind that. What I am not sure of is how exactly the build out will change my immediate harbor area. And I have no idea how they plan to be tr#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g in materials to that site through Salem.... (But they did get the power plant built next door, so....)
Ray, it can't be said enough how massive this stuff is until you see for yourself..

We seen the field under construction fairly close with Chris on a BF trip…. freaken scary big…..
what’s even harder to fathom is the cost,,, !!! but happy to hear most is American made….
nightfighter 09-22-2023, 06:59 PM On the show someone said each blade would go from the end of one football endzone to the other...

Actually talked with some folks at Seafreeze in Quonset. about the existing turbines out by Block Island. They weren’t too crazy about them; said they were affecting the offshore fishing out there. Don’t know if they’ll be happy about much bigger installations.
