I don't really want to promote another site, but Mike kind of narrated his own ending on SOL, showing remarkable courage, grace, and good humor. It's pinned to the top of the Town Tavern forum.

I never met him but while sometimes we didn't see eye to eye, we had some good discussions over the years. My condolences to his family.

I was jumping online tonight to give David Kadison a congrats for finally pulling the lucky key and saw this. Very sad. I did not know him well in person, but he was one of the most helpful members online. Answered so many of my questions and others and I ASKED A LOT! More than I should have, but he didn't care. Among so many pieces of sage advice he told me how to build a bucket that would keep eels alive for days. Saved me 100's of dollars and I still have it! PR Buzz, Tynan19, Mr. Sandman, Niko, John R., Dennis, Basic Patrick, Clammer, Tony, Drumcorpfan, After Hours....He is right up there in my book with all you great fishermen. May he fish the never ending blitz in heaven. Thank you Mako Mike for your time and endless patience with one who is still just learning.
