What I mean is, the post is so obscure, we dont know if we are helping or hurting the guy in the pic by sharing his info. If someone on this site posted a pic of me, and said "anyone know this guy?" I would REALLY hope everyone here would not start sharing all my info. Its almost certainly for nothing bad, but these days you just never know... there might be guys here who know him and are (rightfully) sitting quiet based on the lack of context or info. I got his picture off his camera ... the only other thing that I can tell you is he was in a red kayak... I thought the less I mentioned the better...
