Just wanted to share my experience with this company

I have a avet sx 5.3.1 MC. Had it for years used here used there . never really used it as a primary reel. Pulled it out the other day. Was tight took it apart cleaned it. Drag washer dry rot not reeling smooth..

Start poking around the web. For fixes . I see that Avet does reel maintenance 44.00 bucks I send it off. 2 weeks ago. Get an email it’s on its way back. I think ok that’s fast. Maybe I just put back together wrong.

I get it back. Today. Surprised to find a bag with everything they replaced all the bearings and the drag washer and shipped it back for free. All for the original cost of 44.00 bucks

And I had expected to pay for parts .. All I can say is wow .. that’s amazing and the reels like brand new minus its now a 2 tone reel I soaked 1/2 in degreaser and removed the powder coating… ��

Leatherman is the same. They will fix or replace their tools without question.
