Just turned 26, made 1st marine engineer in record pace on a 1000’ tanker that sails Alaska-California, 90 days on ship 90 days off to run our boat, bought his 1st house on Cape Cod last year. Huge shortage of licensed and unlicensed mariners. I’m in my 36th year and tired of missing boating seasons. Hope he’s maxing the 401k. I can tell ya why if I see you guys this summer. Walk to the end of his street to the Canal. Made him a partner in the boat & charter business where he’s taking it to a new level.
