Finally getting over covid, so will be working on all the things I've missed, including cutting the grass for two weeks. Looks like a meadow, not like a lawn.
What's up for the weekend?

Teak on my boat Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device You know how to finish teak? Awesome, next year you can come and oil all my new furniture :jump1: nightfighter 05-31-2024, 08:37 PM Finally launching tomorrow. MIL was in hospital for a few days and we have lost and are slowly regaining our voices... (and MIL is bouncing off the wall on steroids...) Hookedagain 05-31-2024, 08:39 PM Just finished cooking and cracking four 2-1/2 lb lobster's. My wife and her sister had a small feast. Little necks and sea scollops too. Tomorrow we have a family party and Sunday I head to Horseback with the camper for 2 weeks. nightfighter 06-01-2024, 08:30 AM Nephew backed me down the ramp while I was aboard. No start..... Took it right back to the Boat Shop and texted him that it was there. Wife is more disappointed as she was this close to her weekends of freedom! LOL. Not one of my finer ten minutes but I am over it. So I am changing gears and headed into the yard with pruners. piemma 06-01-2024, 11:56 AM Nephew backed me down the ramp while I was aboard. That sucks. Key kill switch maybe? Or just wouldn’t turn over Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device afterhours 06-01-2024, 03:37 PM Installed new trim tab actuators this am this puttered around with house work. Going to plug Jamestown shoreline in the am and then drift for fluke. I'm getting used to no work work on the weekends. nightfighter 06-01-2024, 04:38 PM I'm sorry Ross but "funny stuff". You have to laugh, every day... I am told it was an air bubble in fuel line "because it sat for so long and you probably didn't have3 any fuel in it." I wasn't in the mood to argue. Had twenty gallons in it when he did the spring commissioning on motor, electrical, and plumbing systems three weeks ago... And I added 9 gallons last night. I also had tried pumping the ball and it felt firm. I really don't care as long as it starts tomorrow morning. (and I find a driver...) JFigliuolo 06-02-2024, 05:09 AM Why not try on the hose? nightfighter 06-02-2024, 11:02 AM Launched, started, add some fuel, two macs on troll out and two slot fish released on way to my mooring. Heard a tick, tick, tick, like a lifter, but I know two strokes don't have that.... Make a new boat list and get ready for niece's engagement party later on. piemma 06-02-2024, 11:48 AM Hey Ross, relax and enjoy, I just roasted some cauliflower and grilled swordfish and steak.
