I dont agree with the way they push it, or any other tool for that matter but Festool does make some real nice equipment. If you can afford it. spence 06-21-2024, 12:23 PM well....it is a fantastic saw. I have the cordless Makita, works just as well in my opinion. spence 06-22-2024, 03:22 PM The company I work for has a few set ups. I have the cordless Makita, works just as well in my opinion. I’d but one if I had a need which I don’t. They do look nice though. All corded. All superbly designed tools. Track saw allows me to break down 4x8 sheet goods so much easier alone and more exact than on a table saw, especially in the field. Vacuum is critical to keeping the site clean and reducing clean up. Other carpenters who don't have a track saw are always shocked seeing how well it works. And depending on stock size and repeatability, it often replaces a table saw on jobsite. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
