Good luck to all who are going Bonefish 09-24-2003, 06:12 PM I read this on the fishing forecast from " On The Water" dated Sept 18th. the website for the tourney says the checkin is 4:30 until 6pm and it goes the entire weekend until noon on Sun. Does anyone know what is the right info? From On The Water "Next weekend the Block Island Inshore Fishing Tournament will be held on the island from September 26 through the 28. Sign up is at 4:30 P.M. until 6 P.M. on Friday. Fishing begins at 6 A.M. on Saturday and ends at Noon on Sunday. This year the main sign up will be at the other tackle shop on the island, Dead Eye #^&#^&#^&#^&s." Got Stripers 09-25-2003, 04:35 AM Sorry but I'm going to pull a WeeWee and beg off, as I don't go both ways. Bill L 09-25-2003, 06:47 AM I was planning on fishing it from shore, but haven't made arrangements to fish with anyone. At this point it doesn't look too good for me, as its the day after tommorrow. To boot, I've got ten pound of s%(* in a five pound sack --- broke ground on an addition to my house Monday, concrete gets poured Friday, and I need to do some backfilling for Monday. But ya neva no, I cold be persuaded to hop the ferry saturday for the night. I've never fished the Block, so would be more or less winging it, but sounds like fun The link for anyone still interested .... http://www.bifishworks.com/ *** It looks like registration is Friday only, which wont work for me, unless they allow check in by phone :smash: fishweewee 09-25-2003, 08:42 AM Originally posted by Got Stripers I don't go both ways.
