So what's up for the weekend? piemma 01-31-2026, 10:33 AM Stoking 2 woodstoves and making "gravy" Meatballs, Eggplant Parm, and Spaghetti. Got Stripers 01-31-2026, 11:46 AM 15 year old Craftsman snowblower worked hard to move 17” last storm, but when i went out to clean the last 3” the augers wouldn’t engage so I was smiling every day the storm forecast keep moving this one out to sea. Who knows if my small engine guy will give me good news soon, but looks to be just a shovel only storm now. Can’t wait for warmer with to see ICE go away. With no garage or heated space to even work on it, I put it on someone who works part time after hours and won’t hopefully burn me. bloocrab 01-31-2026, 08:47 PM 2 bolts and you should be able to see what's going on...no hard lifting at all to look at it, could be your belt guide is loose, belt needs replacing, could be something easy... it should be easy to see once you remove the cover...I know you're going to have someone look at it, but you can get a belt on amazon for short money ($10-$15) and replace it yourself in under than 30 minutes - Got Stripers 02-01-2026, 08:50 AM 2 bolts and you should be able to see what's going on...no hard lifting at all to look at it, could be your belt guide is loose, belt needs replacing, could be something easy... it should be easy to see once you remove the cover...I know you're going to have someone look at it, but you can get a belt on amazon for short money ($10-$15) and replace it yourself in under than 30 minutes - If only i had a garage, my old bones aren’t ready to work on a snow covered driveway, rather pay someone to save me the frustration. My guy confirmed it is the belt and nothing is stock for that machine on Amazon or any of his sources, so waiting on parts. Thankfully this storm was a miss. Hookedagain 02-01-2026, 11:25 AM Didn't do much yesterday. Brought in some wood, ran some errands and got some things in order for my Father in law...hes coming home from the nursing home this week (Rehab from heart surgery). Thankful the storm was a dud, I am working til tomorrow morning and its miserable when it snows. wdmso 02-01-2026, 12:13 PM Taking bets. on my My gas bill is going to look like. next Month. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2026, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
