Remember pulling into a gas station, hitting lights, blinkers, tapping breaks and a few minutes later you have a new inspection sticker. Now you need an appointment and since when does the trailer hitch need to come off the truck to get a sticker? Used to take ten minutes, now its over an hour.

Didn’t New Hampshire eliminate inspections this year?

Trailer hitch has to come off? Geez times have changed. I remember when I first got my license. We'd be sitting at the dinner table and my dad would hand my sister and I our sticker and say, put this on your windshield.

Found this on the internet, so….
Massachusetts: This state is the only one where it is actually illegal to operate a vehicle with a trailer hitch installed and not actively towing something. There's a specific law (§90A of Chapter 90 of the Massachusetts General Laws) that addresses this.

Locally I can hit a station in town and have a sticker in 15 min unless I catch them at a bad time.
