[B]1st Annual NorthEast Kayak Fishing Rodeo June 26 & 27, 2004
The 1st Annual Northeast Kayakfishing Rodeo will be hosted by King Cove Kayak Center, located in Historic Stonington Connecticut, on picturesque Wequetquock Cove.

This is a tournament that will introduce beginners to the world of kayak fishing and expand the limits of those who already kayakfish.

The tournament will be held over 2 days to let as many anglers as possible fish. All age groups are welcome - if you are under 18 you will have to come with your parent.

We have rental kayaks available on a first come first serve basis. Some of the kayaks are setup for fishing with rod holders.

The fishing area is the East Coast of US, as long as you get back to King Cove on time Sunday. We hope that the availability for fishing in different waters will encourage more anglers to come. If you are new to the area we will point you in a direction that will put you close to fish based on your kayak ability. Because of the kayak center's location you may be fishing in CT, RI or NY waters with less than 15 minutes paddle from King Cove.
