Had some conversations about going to Block as a group in the fall. A few sound committed already. Anybody else interested please post and let me know. Very preliminary needless to say, but let's start the process and see where it goes.

I am very interested as Bob knows-
I'd like to shoot for a time slot where we can target Bass, blues, albies and bonito; this would make it the latter part of September. But going for bass & blues early October would be good for me too.
 
BUMP-
The Block is proving to be a tough nut to crack........ the other thread seems a little stalled also.
I talked to the guy who I rented from before, but he doesn't want to rent anymore.
Anybody else got input on a time to go? been there early and been there late- caught fish both times of the year but the late trip is a little on the raw and cool side, action was slow but the fish were bigger-
In September I had more consistent fishing- 20+ fish a night but big was about 32". Ha-eva, I got bruised knuckles from fighting a #^&#^&#^&#^&load of albies and bonito (and bones is good eatin'!) on a fly rod.
It's all a crapshoot tho.... but I want to go anyway.

Block in September is spotty at best.
Even late September is tough fishing.

I would opt for late October if bass and blues is what you're after.

I would be VERY interested. I have never been to a Block run. I don't know any specifics....... where do we stay, I assume fishing from shore ?, time of stay....

count me in if it happens.....
