Hi Joe. April is usually the start but Bass will be in the river earlier if you don't mind freezing your butt off. somewhere in the middle of March the Weakfish should show At Sandy Point West Haven. They are good size fish to. My Sell # is 203 623 9091. Because I'm getting old I prefer warmer , some guys are getting fish in the river now. too cold for me.
