Saw a silver GT40 in Tiverton today with blue racing stripes. Nearly had a cardiac event. Thought you might like that.

I wanted to post this but I'm being a good boy, feel free to post this from the Grumpy Economist

Last week, Abbott Labs announced (more info here) that (finally)
the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for its BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card rapid test for detection of COVID-19 infection. Abbott will sell this test for $5. It is highly portable (about the size of a credit card), affordable and provides results in 15 minutes. BinaxNOW uses proven Abbott lateral flow technology, making it a reliable and familiar format for frequent mass testing through their healthcare provider. With no equipment required, the device will be an important tool to manage risk by quickly identifying infectious people so they don't spread the disease to others.
Note the last sentence. Abbott gets it -- the point of this test is not to diagnose sick people, it is to keep most sick people from spreading the disease.

the whole thing is 3x this size

Hello, I've been referred to you by Slipknot. I'm new to the site, and sent him a question re: a post I would like to make on behalf of Narragansett Surfcasters Surf Day 2019 (6th Annual) in Narragansett next Feb. 9th. We have a few vendor tables remaining so I would include that in the post. Finally, Slipknot offered to make the post sticky if I choose to make the post.
Thanks in advance for your guidance,
    JC10 (Joe)

    John,

Been a while since I have been on the forum and wanted to check in before posting a classified. I am getting rid of all my "surf" stuff as I only fish from a kayak and/or boat. Since I got most of the stuff through members here I wanted to offer it up through here. Once sold I make a donation back to the site if that is ok? Just give me the yay or nay. Thanks.

Hi John, sorry to trouble you. Could you give BillyD and myself instructions on how to delete a thread? We have something on our site which we feel will be causing dissension we would like to take down.

    Hi John,
We’re having some movement in our club. Toby Lapinski has left the club and so, he should be deleted from our member user list. Toby was a moderator for the messages board, so he will have to removed there as well. Billy DiLizio has volunteered to take up the slack and be our moderator. Could you please add him and send him any instructions he may need to edit the site and make stickies or whatever? Thanks.

We are looking forward to Plugfest/TFCTF in February.

    Mike

Throw it against the wall and see if it sticks...

This is one of MANY new features (nee bugs in Microsoft parlance) that we'll be adding to S-B over time. Today's upgrades are the start to doing some cool things. Some things will be noticeable, some things will be improvements over what we've had before. Some things we have not yet contemplated.

All in all, I want this to be one more step in providing the best angling community S-B can be. I'll do what I can with the Geek...
