Thinking of buying one.

I like them alot although the 6500 can do the ol' bail flip snap plug off trick on a hard cast :(
Landed a 41 lb bass in the canal off the bottom out in the middle using a 7500 with the current running strong no problem.

only get the yellow model 6500 or you may have grinding issues.

I can host my pics to my own website so it doesn't drag on John's site here. That is why I can post more than one per post in case anyone was wondering.

Frank and his brothers were the best striped bass fisherman for years and years :)

Flaptail 03-02-2004 10:25 PM

When Chester A. "Biff" McArdle owned Biff's Bait shop by the Sagamore Bridge he used to build them for Bunny over at Red Top. He had tons of lips, thru-wires and grommets, pencil leads etc. I have some lips and Thru-wires Bunny gave me with a bunch of unfinished bodies in Different colors. I wonder who got all that stuff when Biff croaked?

justplugit 03-02-2004 10:28 PM
