I ment for you to take the reel the other day.

mikecc 02-24-2002 10:58 PM

6500CS Mag

redcrbbr 02-24-2002 11:02 PM

have to admit i havn't heard anything bad about those reels on any of the boards.

redcrbbr 02-24-2002 11:03 PM

the c-5 hold the same amount of line? whats the difference between them?

mikecc 02-24-2002 11:03 PM

They have been good.
when you pick up the reel .
you can send away for a Abu watch or a reel cleaning kit for free

Goose 02-24-2002 11:04 PM

just got my dryin motors in .....Mike do you think 4.8 RPM is good drying

mikecc 02-24-2002 11:05 PM

C-5 Mag is 5 bearings has a single cast controol. the CS Mag has 3 bearings and dual cast controol

redcrbbr 02-24-2002 11:07 PM

not only that.. your shop was so burried with customers that day, i was just glad to be able to sneak throgh the crowd and speak with you.

mikecc 02-24-2002 11:07 PM

4.8 just make sure you are using a high build finish other wise it will drip off.
I use a 60 RPM with a speed controol to reduce it.

mikecc 02-24-2002 11:09 PM

have you checked to see if the rack will fit

redcrbbr 02-24-2002 11:11 PM

trust me i'm a darn good welder, i'll make it work..trust me

Goose 02-24-2002 11:14 PM

I havn't made it yet, I'ld like to get some ideas. I got room for 11ft rods,,,Whats a good set up for dryin

mikecc 02-24-2002 11:15 PM

ya thats it :ss:
I have extra drying supports that you can have. I can show you a couple drying mounts.

Goose 02-24-2002 11:16 PM

with that said lol ....I'm thinkin pvc on the motor, with tube streched over to insert butts

Goose 02-24-2002 11:17 PM

hey red I did some welding done. HINT!! HINT!!!!

mikecc 02-24-2002 11:18 PM

PVC with 3 screws drilled and tapped.
with elastic bands works great.

redcrbbr 02-24-2002 11:19 PM

Goose 02-24-2002 11:19 PM

Goose 02-24-2002 11:22 PM
