i hope my daughters who have, and will fish with me this coming season have an opportunity to see some of the things that one sees when they are out on a dark beach, in the middle of nowhere.

to see bluefish in a frenzy and chasing bait up on the shore, or a worm hatch. they have seen the water in late august light up from plankton

my little daughter has already caught a bluefish that gave here a run for her money...she's hooked

my wife was catching stripers when she was a huge 7 months pregnant, talk about some cussing

but....my oldest daughter is going to take the right conditions and the right timing and probably a fish that will try to kick her arse to get her to join in on the family fishing addiction.

i do believe that this year will be the year that my family will finally catch the fever as a unit.
