|
thats the before picture.......
...this is the "after" picture.....:D .....I'm sure you can figure it out now.....;) |
whatever it was, it is sure flat now
|
the "before "pic reminded me of that thingy that they make you stare at when you are getting fitted for contact lenses......
|
The before pic is a hook before it's sharpen'd then after pic....I guess
|
Both pictures are looking with a Striper's Eye.......
....the first picture, he's chasing down a squid......and he's gaining on him....!!!.......;):D The second picture, is the squid....doing its "Skunk" maneuver....and squirting em'......:D:D:laughs: :laughs: ....Think...of the "Fish_Eye" view...... |
Hey Bloo my buddy just got molds for 21 oz. 27 oz vike style cod jigs and 21 oz crippeled herring jigs. Got cod!!!!
|
....Striper1....I'm not sure if you read it yet.....but the new regulations on Codfish made the local paper.
...They upped it to 24 inches......and dropped the bag limit to 5 !!... ...I'm hoping we get some pollock mixed in !!!....:D |
CanalRatt, are you heading up this weekend with us???....:D
....I got a friend who works in a machine shop, he says he can cut me hollow stainless pipes......all I gotta do is bend the ends in :smash: ..so the lead don't drop. It would be nice if he could chrome those suckas for me....;) ..I'm gonna experiment with the first one....I started on it the other night......but my tank ran out..... |
The thread that will not die.

....NEVER!!!......
.....HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA .......!!!!!!! |
Bloo not this weekend. The best way to do the pipe jigs is to fill them then cut them. Don't worry about the chrome its meant to catch the fisherman not the cod. Think about it how much light is down 200'! In Maine they us plain lead vike-style jigs NO CHROME!
|
Bloo here is how I see it
say I get 5 cod over 24 inch each fish should be about 4 pounds good meat? 5 fish is 20 pounds that sounds high so say 15 pounds good take home cod meat at 7 bucks a pound that's 105 bucks of cod for 50 bucks and if you like it the fun of getting it yourself. now closed zones :af: :af: where ? when ? I think that will hurt the small guy out there. |
Striper 1 & Bloo
you can get lead at scrap yards from .25-.35 per Lb. I offer local plumbers the going rate for lead. they just drop it off . I go thru 5,000-6,000 lbs per year :smash: |
mikecc.
Do you sell blocks of lead ? I would like to help our sponsors:D GOT LEAD ?:) |
......;)
....never thought of junkyards....mikecc.....thanks. As soon as I finish off the rest of the pile....I'll visit my local junkyard dog....:) |
