still snowin here 28 degrees...plus as a added insult from mother nature:eek: high winds:splat:

fishweewee 12-06-2003 12:13 PM

I'm more worried about rain/sleet that freezes over. :af:

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 12:17 PM

Ummm....yeaaa thats bad! :(

fishweewee 12-06-2003 12:36 PM

...then it's time to break out the ice picks, the sledge hammers, thermite explosive, and the flamethrowers to thaw the drive way out.

Either that, or skate to work. :laughs:

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 12:54 PM

i pick the sledge hammer:jump1: hehe...

fishweewee 12-06-2003 01:14 PM

neighbors were giving me dirty looks for shoveling with my korkers on :laughs:

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 01:15 PM

hey thats a good idea!!!

:laughs:

ahhhh, the many uses for corkers:D

fishweewee 12-06-2003 01:16 PM

Actually, they're more useful for walking on slippery ice than hopping on a rocky jetty :laughs:

Apparently they were first invented for roofers...

Mike P 12-06-2003 01:21 PM

My driveway has about a 25% grade----Korkers aren't just a "good idea" they're a necessity :laughs:

Screw the neighbors--they can't see me anyway. We don't even get trick-or-treaters cuz my driveway looks like the "Road to Nowhere". :D

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 01:21 PM

:laughs:

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 01:23 PM

isnt that a....song...by the cars? i think...

:laughs:

fishweewee 12-06-2003 01:23 PM

Last year the neighbors did draw the line at me trying to break up an ice patch with some gasoline and some matches.

They got me a sledgehammer instead. :laughs:

You think I'm joking?

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 01:25 PM

:laughs:

Mike P 12-06-2003 01:25 PM

Ben---I know you too well to think that's a joke :laughs:

MSF---I'm more from the "Stairway to Heaven" generation, maybe that's the reference I shoulda used ;)

fishweewee 12-06-2003 01:27 PM

No Quarter...

Close the door, put out the light.
You know they won't be home tonight.

The snow falls hard and don't you know?
The winds of Thor are blowing cold.

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 01:34 PM

:smash: i get stuck watching "Finding Nemo" most of the day, its my kids favorite movie::ugh:::smash:

hopefully it stops snowing so i can go shovel and throw my kids in the snow:devil:

fishweewee 12-06-2003 01:35 PM

:yak:

Scotch Bonnet 12-06-2003 01:37 PM

Todays movie recommendation

1) Lock, Stock and Two Smokin Barrels

2) Snatch

Same producer or director or whatever, similar movies, but both very good.

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 01:38 PM

:yak: i have the same feeling when they just get done watching it, and then ask to watch it again!:smash:

i have to tell them Nemo got lost:eek5: :wall:

fishweewee 12-06-2003 01:38 PM

sponge bob squarepants :laughs: :hihi:

MrsSFrances 12-06-2003 01:40 PM

:bounce: i love sponge bob :D

BigFish 12-06-2003 01:44 PM

Sponge Bob is my favorite! I remember when they were showing previews of the cartoon before it began airing and I thought it was the stupidest looking show to come down the pike! When it came on I watched it with my kids and now I like it more than they do!:laugha:

BigFish 12-06-2003 01:46 PM

FishWeeWee...love John Carpenters version of The Thing but I still like the original better! There is just something about older movies and the simplicity of them that makes them enjoyable to watch!:kewl:

Moose Nuckle 12-06-2003 01:51 PM

" Sponge Bob Big Fish." It has a nice ring to it.:laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha: :laugha:
