Wow - I don't have enough time to go thru the whole thing - need to get groceries.... :rollem: But I had a FANTASTIC TIME this year and hope I mentioned everyone:
Bassmaster - just once but was a blast! Slipknot - at same blast with BM - too bad we couldn't get Block going Fishpart - alot but still not enough Crazy Alberto - just once on the earlt cape trip Rock Hopper - ditto Clammer - a few times this year but no where enough times to fish with this friend ! Specialist - not enough (damn house) CSK - got my plug back :hihi: Bud8fan - not enough but you liked that spot, eh :hihi: BasicPatrick - a few times and was fun as usuall - more next year BobBike - see above Goose - had one of my most enjoyable boat nights ever, somewhere ;P Notaro - will take you out bassin next year (but you gotta do what I tell you) Swede - more next year? Capt. Mike B BigBo - that was fun - I think I was the most useless first mate ever InterPlanetaryAngler - more than one (personailty) Need to fish eels more dude RIROCKHOUND - - poor rod Gill from "the other site" - rumor has it he's over here  Toonoc - several enjoyable trips Krispy - lot of fun and stories... Fishpart (yeh I mentioned you twice) DonM - always run into him Jenn & Hubby (briefly) Joe - before the schoolies arrived at the wall Habs Habs Junior (one of the most poised you angler's I've met - gonna be better than his dad) Team Rock On CanalRatt (too brief) Bazza chris L Don Bliz - left too early for the funnest fishing night of 03 canalman got stripers carl saltheart Backlash briefly (aka Bubba) Ran into out on the beach: Lapinsky Redlite katie redcrabber MtnBrz Nils BigFish Joe the Lurker Bonefish JPowers SteveinMass But most enjoyable night, most fun, and best company of 03 was when I fished with GBoutdoors (Don left too early that night) in his boat and Clammer and Tony in Goose's boat. Greg and I had a BLAST that will certainly go down in my history as one of the most exceptional nights in fishing for me. Me, Greg, Tony, Clammer, and for a few hours Don, experienced fishing humor and excellence nrivana. If that was not the most fish I've ever caught in a day it was right there. And I don't think Ive ever laughed that much or had such an awesome time as I did that night.... For me, angler of the year, as well as Fishing Dude(s) of the year is a 1st place tie between GB and Mikul :btu: . I sincerly enjoyed and appreciated both of your company this year! I did not have a bad night fishing with any of you and had fun and learned from all!!! Thanks! Looking forward to 04 |
Got to fish with the Best this year!...
GBGOUTDOORS - Had an absolute BLAST this past year! You are the best! I wasn't sure if it counted though... but I loved it! Lets be raising the bar this year by another 10lbs that don't count!... Redcrbbr - another true gentleman & heckuva great guy I really enjoyed our excursion out for surf fishing!... we'll need to do more this year! It was nice getting to know you late this past season! MrMacey & Bud8fan -I got to see "Larry & Curley" in action! These two are truly a "unique pair" out on the water... These guys are the poster children for Gilligan's Island! :laughs: Canalman - I have to get out there with you again sometime. I've heard some great things about your knowledge & ability to fish the surf! JohnR This guy sure knows how to hook up on a slip! I also watched the Goose & Clammer in action earlier in the season... it was great to see them both out on the water! Karl - We Just need a chance to find some bass! Saltheart - This year for sure!... All in all... this past year was a great season fishing with some great fishermen, and I'm looking forward to the best ever for this coming year! There were alot of Large Bass being marked & taken out there this past year!... This new year already seems promising!... Each warm day brings us closer to the next run!!! BRING IT ON!!!   I'm hoping to get out there more this year with many of you! There are some amazing fishermen on this board! Enough to fill many OTW'S!!!... I'll keep reading & looking for you! |
OH My what a day it was. I only had one chance to fish with a group from here, and that was Mr. Macy, Missing Link, Maco Joe, Shore-Manic. And the junior Missing Link too. What a fun day of fishing. and rowing, and towing. I appreciate you guys.
I did get a lot of chances to fish with many friends from RISAA and What a year it was. Well over 350 Keeper stripers to 40 lbs. Lots of fluke in the 6 and 7 pound range. Plus all the blues you'd ever want to reel in. Some code and black sea bass too. Fishing is a great time to get to meet new friends and share God's abundance. Keep up reeeeeeelin. Armand |
Nice post. I do most of my fishin on the spare of the moment which is part of the reason why I'm a loner. I must say that 99% of the time when I do fish with or run into a s-b member out there, we always strike up a good brotherly conversation. I also met and got know a few others that shared their skill's and hope to fish with some day.
Clammer Bliz John R GB Bloo GS Slipknot Milo |
Goose - that was a cool trip we made over to ************** so I think next year another trip or 4 might be in the cards :)

|
JohnR, when you said that I gotta do what you tell me. Are you going to school me on bassin'?
|
I was lucky enough to meet and fish with some really cool people this year. Fishing by myself I dont think I would have learned as much as I did fishing with people with totally differnt approaches. Its cool when you can incorporate what they do into your own routine.
I fished with My uncle and his wife. (if you fish in the bristol area you'll know them as john and Olga) I fished with the Mrs. Dad, Very cool man has forgotten more about fishing than I'll ever learn. Fished with my buddies, we've all known eachother since we were 6 yrs old. We still make to to meet up and fish when shcedules allow. Fished with Chris (blackeye) Learned tons about being prepared. I would'nt tell him that tho;) Pulled off the Giant eel boat to boat transfer just off the center wall. Ho'd and got ho'd Fished with Eben, learned that whole F it lets go with the hunch. Got to meet the old timers  Those guys can grump man. Laying claim to certain rocks and what not. Ho'd and Got Ho'd Fished alone to learn structure. Fished the ditch fling with some guys from Pa and Delaware I beleive. Also fished with PASurfer as we complained about having to throw 5-6 ounces and not hold bottom. And lastly fished with the Mrs. Grampa and I guess he'd never invited anyone to go with him EVER! ANd that was really informative and cool, the other son in laws who fish ask me how I did it? I dunno he just asked me to go :laughs: |

I think Team Sea Monkey will need a few more coolers onboard
"Off Duty" will set sail again next week, those who don't mind the 3-5 footers or the freezing morning temperature can follow me out, I've been getting into schools of huge fish, mainly cod and haddock but with giant pollack and some wolf-fish mixed in. see Chris for an association sticker and come along for the best in fishing this time of the year, we're just getting started! Good luck everyone, see ya on channel69  |
It's good to see another member of TSM doing well. :D
