unbelievable

it would appear there needs to be someone checking out the crowd from a different vantage point....or perhaps a booby trapped (with an alarm) set up.....to catch them in the act.

thats a total drag.... and oh what a shetty feelin it is.....

sorry to hear about that guys.

bassmaster 03-10-2004 09:35 AM

RI Popper 03-10-2004 12:24 PM

Hey John, I'm sorry you got ripped off at the show. I got taken for a couple small poppers and also for a pocket knife atleast that's all I could figure. _)(& happens. I figure that's the price of big business. :af:

Notaro 03-10-2004 01:26 PM

Maybe they should have arranged the metal detectors or item detectors. Mark your prices...

marky1 03-11-2004 11:36 AM

Police station is too easy...Hospital would make it worthwhile!

cheferson 03-11-2004 11:55 AM

No a nice chum slick poured in his air intake beneath his windshield. Everytime he uses his heat or a/c hell think about the theft.

Lobo 03-11-2004 08:13 PM

Someone, where in New Bedford is "rivers end" and what time does it open?

JHABS 03-11-2004 08:47 PM

Crafty Angler 03-11-2004 08:56 PM

I think it's all Tattoo's fault.

From those pictures I saw, you woulda been able to keep a better eye on your stuff it you weren't so distracted by fending him off...

Hey, don't worry Habs - I hear it ain't smart to try and mess around with the King. :smash:

Habs that sucks:( Its one thing to joke around and play the plug ho like I did with you ( sliding those needle blanks out of your back pocket) but its another thing to flat out steal:mad: Had I known you had a theft problem at the show I wouldn't have messed with you like that.. hope you get those plugs back... and if someone from S-B.com did it, that double sucks.

Swimmer 03-11-2004 10:47 PM

Once a thief always a thief

Once someone has stolen from you or someone else thier always a thief in my eyes. If your sure who it is post the name so we can blaspheme him. As far as what one should do to him/her, my choice would be that after you use the "force necessary that any prudent and ordinary person would use to defend yourself and your property," call the meat wagon.
Can't wash off the stink from being a thief. As hardas the thief tries those spots will not wear or wash off.:smash: :af:

macojoe 03-11-2004 11:03 PM

Sorry RI but if I new who stole somthing from me they better pray they wake up the next day!!:af:

Krispy 03-12-2004 10:03 AM

It was only a matter of time this whole "plug Ho" got out of control.Ive been saying it for years.
In the end, its all Bassmasters fault

RI Popper 03-12-2004 10:30 AM

Hey Joe,

One of the hardest things in my life was dealing with someone who once was a very good friend of mine. While I was away in the Army. He broke into my parents house and stole a bunch of stuff. What a low life piece of garbage. I really wanted to do a number on him. And no one would have blamed me if I did. But he was prosecuted and the system slapped him on the wrist. I pray for him now when ever I think of it. He really needs it. And don't get me wrong, I'm not a pacifist. But for me that method works best.

The site cordially agrees with statement from the above officer of the law :wavey: . We actually have a half dozen or more law enforecement officers representing state's police, towns', and sherrifs' offices here - Talk about a badge carrying posse :hihi:

BigFish 03-12-2004 12:04 PM

A good a$$ kickin' beats a slap on the wrist any day!:smash:

ThrowingTimber 03-12-2004 08:35 PM

Cape air saved my butt Saturday morning and got to Providence in time :)

except for the slick fingers it sounds as though it was shweeet.

RI Popper 03-15-2004 08:21 PM

It was a great show. The final numbers have attendance at over 8,000. 40 seminars and and 37 were good from what I understand, the other 3 were done by me so we won't go there ;) but some people even liked them. :smash:
