fishaholic18 05-14-2004 10:23 PM

I don't have a date on my back surgery yet so I'm not sure. Maybe they'll load me up with morphine so I can fish. If I can, I'll be there.

MAC 05-16-2004 01:39 PM

I'll be bringing deviled eggs:D

OX 05-16-2004 08:11 PM

scoobe 05-17-2004 10:44 PM

I'll try to make the first MA leg on the 19th of June. It'd be nice to meet some of you folks.

Fishpart 05-18-2004 01:05 PM

I'll be somewhere the 5th. Probably meet some of you on a rock pile.....

Saltheart 05-18-2004 03:34 PM

Just got back from Japan. Yes OX , I plan on bringing some Strawberry shortcake!!! :)

Saltheart 05-18-2004 03:36 PM

Notaro , yes , you can bring a guest or two. They of course will not be part part the four leg tourney.

Notaro 05-18-2004 03:37 PM

perfect.

Got Stripers 05-18-2004 07:52 PM

I hope to be able to attend, I can't commit due to business and family loose ends, time will tell.

DRUMCORPFAN 05-19-2004 09:57 AM

i be there

NeedaKeepah 05-21-2004 02:26 PM

Are semi-noobs welcome? I have fished mostly for freshies.....I have gotten some schoolies but as you can see buy my handle I am in need :D . I can tie my own knots and bait my own hooks lol.
I also have what I think you guys are referring to as a sled. A 91 Sonoma w/ Killer 4x :) (don't know if I would need different tires). Would love to chase fish down a beach, you see I am too lazy to walk it lol. I just don't know where its legal. Hope to see some of you folks soon.

Clammer 05-21-2004 10:41 PM

I Hope to go --gotta wait and see

DaveS 05-22-2004 04:17 PM

Jersey Contingent checking in, looks like it might be a go for me. Might bring my pops, as he has never fished Rhody before.

TheSpecialist 05-22-2004 09:59 PM

Dave you going to christen him with the long walk??
:D

DaveS 05-23-2004 02:45 AM

Nah, he's 74 and had a bypass. Maybe I'll start walking and let him catch up to me:laughs:

JohnR 05-23-2004 07:19 AM

NeedaKeepah - yes, noobs are OK provided they have met the membership reqs - member for a full week and particpate in some threads.

Too late for beach passes anywhere in this area of New England that I'm aware of, your beach fishing is by Reebok now :hihi:

Bill L 05-23-2004 09:31 AM

My daughter has a soccer game at 2:00, so will probably miss the cookout, but will be fishing later

RickBomba 05-23-2004 11:53 AM

Can't go, stinks being the FNG at work, all weekends for me. Anyhow, I've got a wedding to go to on June 18th or 19th too, so I won't be able to make it to the cape, either.
Gonna be a fun summer.
Rick

blackeye 05-23-2004 01:19 PM

I'll try to make it-maybe I can talk bart into carpooling.
I'll bring my appetite
and maybe some HOT wings

striperjerk1 05-23-2004 01:50 PM

Im in, will bring some pork products for sandwiches.

jugstah 05-24-2004 11:30 AM

I'll be there if I'm not fishing off a boat somewhere, and I'm not tied down by my wife or the stepson.

Crafty Angler 05-25-2004 09:40 PM

I'm there :p

I'll knock out a cauldron of Drunken Blackfish Stew.

Or maybe some Cock-Eyed Quahog Chowder. The basic recipe is pretty much the same - almost too much vermouth :laughs:

Seriously, don't worry - it's rock-hopper friendly, the alcohol cooks off.

Drinking and fishing from the rocks is a sure way to guarantee getting taken out of the gene pool sooner or later, IMHO.
