I am going to make some muffins (thought it would be good to have something to grab on the go) maybe some other stuff too...but not positive as I havent even packed yet:rolleyes: and we are leaving right after work tommorrow!!! oops!

JohnR 10-11-2001 07:26 AM

dunno Mike - the biggest problem we had with the corn was that we forgot that GS brought it...

patrickswoman 10-11-2001 11:06 AM

mindi

p.s. I'm not going to have time or cash to make cookies but I'm bringing a bag of chips, and I have some grilling tools and spices if you want me to bring those.

JohnR 10-11-2001 12:38 PM

Mindi - just do what you can do - don't kill yourself... Any news on the job front?

patrickswoman 10-11-2001 01:13 PM

nothing yet..

The place that I usually work temp for, Corning Inc., is on a hiring freeze because their stocks have plummeted. I've applied at about 15 other places and I haven't heard anything. I keep calling but there have been big layoffs here so everyone is looking for work. I got one interview but there were 5 other candidates so I didn't get it. As it stands I have about 10 bucks to spend out there after I pay for our room. Patrick's buying me dinner friday and as for Saturday..Thank God you guys have food...LOL...
I have some Emeril spices for the grill for whoever likes the spicy stuff...let me know if there are any utensils/condiments you need. I'm bringing my little grill set with spatula, tongs, etc.
Looking forward to seeing you all ! yahoooooooo!!!
:D mindi

I'll be heading up there saturday am with my younger brother. I'll sign him up today, but it doesn't matter any about torny or anything, he just wants to fish. We'll try and pick up some stuff on the way up, just have to get something non perishable as we'll be driving 3 1/2 hours to get there. See ya there!

JohnR 10-12-2001 08:44 AM

Sounds good Jenty...

Got Stripers 10-12-2001 08:47 AM

I'll be there by 1, maybe earlier to do a little scouting in the area. Since it appears the main food is covered, I'll be bringing a big batch of toll house cookies. Hey John, you in the office today, like to talk briefly about gear.

JohnR 10-12-2001 11:49 AM

No prob - left you a couple messages....

tobias 10-12-2001 02:21 PM

Hey John - Is it too late for me to join you guys tomorrow? Might not be able to meet everyone at Weekapaug but is there a way I can find out where a lot of the members will be fishing? I'm guessing a few will be down at Watch Hill. Look forward to meeting more members. Thanks.

Tobias

P.S. If I do make it down in time will be bringing some wings.

JohnR 10-12-2001 03:36 PM

Hey Tobias - long time - no problem.... and yes, wings are good :D
