I'm in again. Should be ready for a road trip about then. Not sure yet about bringing a wife or, how did he put that, a legitimate significant other (they sound expensive, but maybe I could afford one just for the night).
Anyway, I will bring an appetizer, probably two.

Katie 12-30-2004 04:06 PM

I'm in so is Red, mom and my sister might show up this year for the first time..

we might bring clam chowda and ribs or the normal smoked turkey :)

RIJIMMY 12-30-2004 04:22 PM

I had a great time last year, it was nice to meet a bunch of folks here. Best part though was winning the rod building class and rod materials w/Mike from M&D. Mike and his family were great hosts and the rod came out better than I ever dreamed.
Count me in, I'll bring whatever is needed.

Actually - my first call was going to be to DZ :hee: . For those that have not seen it yet - it is an awesome presentation on how a lucky few experienced something very rare in Surfacting for bass...

goosefish 12-30-2004 05:35 PM

I'm going to try and make it and if I do I'II be doing an oyster thing, maybe rockefeller, maybe remick, or straight up on the half-shell.

TheSpecialist 12-30-2004 05:49 PM

Me and the wife, only if she is feeling ok though.

I will bring a suprise dish...

This board needs an award for the biggest cabin fever, crybabying, get me through the winter person. :laughs:

Crafty Angler 12-30-2004 06:01 PM

This year I WILL be there - and I'll bring the traditional Drunken Blackfish Chowder....:hee:

Hmmm....maybe I can talk Mrs Crafty into it since she started surfcasting this year...

I also talked to Pt Jude Joe about it this afternoon - but then that wouldn't qualify as a couple...

Hey, no wisecracks, ya knuckleheads :smash:

Canalman 12-30-2004 06:10 PM

Well I am in as usual and I think this year I will bring cheesecake... unless we have too many desserts in which case I will bring .... something else :D

John,

I think you sghould convene a super secret committee of the boards regulars and create a few annual awards. Some Ideas...

1...Rookie of the Year Award...for the loudest member that came in like gangbusters, pissed everyone off and now is just another one of the bunch.

2...I need a Life...this is the mike hog or net hog asward given to someone who just has to post on every little damn thing...related or not

3...Closest to getting Banned Award....for the member that will centralize this winter's insanity

let your imagination run....

lurch 12-31-2004 01:05 AM

Sounds like fun!

I think I will attend and get to meet everyone!

I hope I can make it!

milo 12-31-2004 08:42 AM

redlite 12-31-2004 10:56 AM

And definately bringin a foldin lawn chair for the after party. If I sit on an exercise machine again like last year, I might break this years New Year's resolution of not exercising.

Iwannakeeper 12-31-2004 12:02 PM

Both I and the little woman will be in attendance for the first time.

I do not think I have seen it on the list yet. I will bring plastic forks, knives, and spoons. I will also grab a stack of plates and napkins. Guess it is a run over to BJ's Wholesale on the way down.

This next statement probably won't be too popular. But $10 a couple is one inexpensive night out. If money is short keeping this site open JohnR, I wouldn't have a problem with a bump on the ticket prices. If not, I will purchase something for the raffle table. This is a great site, and a long winter - I want the lights left on.

Ya' gotta make this post sticky JohnR

That's OK - Buy more raffle tickets :hee:

I don't want it to be expensive, I just want it to be a good time. The TCTFN generates half of the funds to keep the site going well. But I don't want it to be expensive (not that I'd mind making more :hihi: ). But we keep the ticket for significant others so we can prove (or disprove) that we are not (or just are) a bunch of lunatics

Katie 12-31-2004 02:13 PM

i volunteer to do the raffle again.. :hihi:
