Lurch,
love the phot of the little guy in the surf and the rest are great. Fisheye, we are not worthy...... mikee's blitz is always a winner... last week before disembarking. not a "great" photo but it was the feeling in my soul as I looked up to grab the stick and a night such as that just hits one in the heart. |

Is there anything better than getting out there and having that 20 yards of sand all to yourself ? My dad and I were out there at the end of august, had it all to ourselves 3 nights in a row. Small fish but hey some of em had stripes... Kind of different than the asses to elbows we had back in June& July, and that I'm sure I'll see when I get back down @ the end of the month. T-12 days n counting |

Rhody. This Saturday. People were fishing/sightseeing in some darn crazy areas. I snapped pics quickly and left, so as not to feel obligated to try to save their behinds when they got swept into the water.

wow, is then when I am suppossed to be embarrasesed or feel stupid ? I must fish that spot 40 times a year. way to go diggin ! wish the rip still looked that way. the past couple of winters changed it but it still does similar stuff depending on wind and tide. |

Thumb Burner, sweet shot. My daughter that just turned three is begging me to build her a pink rod so that she can go fishing with me. I can't wait until she hooks up. I'll be in the Outer Banks for Thanksgiving week, so hopefully I can get her hooked up to something of a reasonable size to reel in. Maybe one of those famed OBX rockfish, as they call them down there.

Might be made for big swimmers, but I'll betcha you'd be Diggin Jiggin if you dredged the bottom of that rip, too ;)

I took these up at Plum Island over the weekend. Fished a little, didn't catch chit, but no one else was either.
