Fred - in addition to all suggestions above, if you are truly interested in this new position/career, make sure it is abundantly clear during the interview that you are (this is not desperate in my opinion).
I conduct alot of interviews at my job looking for new talent and I can't tell you how many times a qualified candidate arrives and shows no enthusiasm for the job. Most times I'll offer the position to a less qualified candidate who shows a strong work ethic/enthusiasm. Good luck! |
Tall boys might be a good idea...but only for you to wash a successful interview down with... :gu:...good luck Fred!

Fred,
How'd it go? |
ya....what happened??
|
I thought that it went well. I had what I thought was a good answer for every question. They smiled and nodded at some of my answers and acknowledged the depth of my experience. I admitted to what I considered my weaknesses and told them outright that I would expect training in their policies and procedures. I'd also expect to draw on their "tricks of the trade". I won't know anything for two weeks, they're just begining the process to find a new hire. The suspense is gonna kill me. And once again thanks for the support everyone, I envisioned all of you behind me the whole time. :bgi:

maintain that vision.....
some times there's more than one interview...
i've had three sometimes before they said "welcome aboard" |
Sounds like everything went great Fred.:D They would be lucky to get a fine person like yourself.:btu:
