Left Ande Pink years ago for Big Game... & never looked back!

I still lose big fish every year!-- but at this point, none to unexplained line failure, nor to hardware or hooks failing! (Took some years, but these problems solved!). Just cut back & replace enough & often, and B.G. will serve you well in the Surf!

Big Game is not "perfect" (no Mono is!)... but is as tough, abrasion resistant & consistent as any I tried (Ande in second place). That's the main reason I stay with mono over braid for Surf/ plugging applications still: more consistency, & no unexplained break- offs & binding on heavy runs/ drag- pulls, like with braid (& no cut fingers, or dangerous line- handling/ fish- landing either). Yes, I know the advantages braid brings to the Caster: but I'm fastidious re. my hooks & sharpness, AND am a hook- setter of the animalistic variety to begin with!... :musc: so there too I think I'm more a mono than braid guy/ Candidate!
